Roz Elliott  & Amy Cordova

 

Roz Elliott, Vice President of Public Affairs, DCP Midstream


Roz Elliott is Vice President of Public Affairs for DCP Midstream, one of the largest natural gas processors in the U.S. Roz oversees public affairs, including external and internal communications, crisis communications, stakeholder relations, brand management, issues management and community investment. 

DCP Midstream has contributed over $5 million to the American Heart Association nationally over the past five years and is the largest corporate fundraiser for the Heart Walk nationally. 

Active in the community, Roz serves on the Board of Trustees for The Denver Foundation and the GLBT Center. Roz was awarded the 2015 Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Business Women’s Award for Communication, Media and Public Relations.

Elliott was born in Clinton, Ontario, Canada in 1966. She graduated valedictorian from King’s College, The University of Western Ontario, with a bachelor’s degree in English and history and a master’s degree in journalism. 

 

Amy Cordova, Information Technology Senior Director, Cigna

 Amy Cordova presently serves as an Information Technology Senior Director at Cigna.  Amy is a strong leader with Business and Information Technology experience spanning a variety of functions, and has been with Cigna for 16 years.  She currently leads a team of approximately 400 resources located in Colorado and around the country.    


A primary goal for Amy is to always seek out opportunities for innovation.  Amy has experience with application development and maintenance, operations, and support center.  In addition, she has expertise with project and program management, including delivering projects from inception to completion as well as recovering troubled projects and integration programs.  Amy has always served with an entrepreneurial spirit.  While much of Amy’s experience is in large corporations, she approaches her role as an entrepreneur.  At Cigna, Amy works as a primary partner to a number of business leaders across the Company.

Amy firmly believes in continuing education.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Colorado State University, a Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado.  She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified project manager, and a SIM Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) Graduate.  She has been trained in the Kepner-Tregoe method for Problem Solving & Decision Making (PSDM).  She also holds the TOGAF certification for Enterprise Architecture.  Amy is active with mentoring relationships as well.  In addition, Amy is frequently asked to speak at industry events for both application delivery and program and project management topics.

Amy lives with her family in Littleton, Colorado.  Amy is a volunteer member of the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA) Board of Directors and is a chapter officer with P.E.O. which is a philanthropic group focused on providing educational opportunities for women.  Amy regularly volunteers for church activities and the Boy Scouts, and has volunteered at various activities for Girls, Inc., Habitat for Humanity, Project CURE, Girls on the Run, and Food Bank of the Rockies.
